NEGATIVE . . . Ethiopia Round 3, Day 19

This morning we headed out to the IOM (International Organization for Migration).  It was time to get "M^"s TB test read . . .

NEGATIVE!!!

Woo Hoo!

We are so thrilled that it is negative for so many reasons.  1.  We really don't want her to have TB because that would be horrible.  2.  IF it was positive it would mean many more tests and possible significantly longer stay in Ethiopia while she was treated.  This is fabulous!  We are right on track to leave for home on August 1st!

We returned to the guest house for some yummy lunch.  Egg sandwiches for Kevin and I and Tibs fir fir (cooked meat with injera) for "M^".  Then a nap!!!

That afternoon we went to pick up the other test results we were waiting on.  Nothing more than what we expected was found.  We are anxious to get our girl home and get her healthy though!  Please pray for her!

All these different appointments meant driving around town again.  Here is a view of the Edna Mall at dusk with the lights and fountain on.

We ate an awesome dinner at Shishu Burger again.  Afterward, Kevin decided we had to go Albnanny for ice cream again.  This time the excuse was to celebrate Nati taking his taxi driver test.  I'm sure we will go celebrate with ice cream again when we find out he passed on Monday :)  Kevin will take any excuse to celebrate with ice cream!!!
