The television has been on a lot of the time. An Ethiopian children's show came on . . .
After lunch we took a walk. On the road an Ethiopian man stopped us. He told us God told him to speak to us and share some scripture. We talked on the side of the road and shared our favorite scripture with him as well. Definitely an interesting encounter!
We did some shopping at some tiny local shops. When I say tiny, they are like the size of a hallway closet. "M^" picked out some coffee cups to use when she does a coffee ceremony back in the US. She picked out very fancy cups. :) We headed back to the guest house.
Continuing our tour of the guest house . . . here is another view from the 2nd floor balcony. The large building is a veterinarian supply company.
Nati, Kevin, "M^", and I ate dinner at a place called Island Breeze. It was a great little restaurant. Yup, Kevin and "M^" had coke!
They had fajitas! Like fairly real fajitas!
AND chicken fried steak . . . well sorta! Kevin did say it was good though!
Miss "M^" had pizza (again)! I'm glad she likes it! We can find pizza in the US!
Here's our language lesson for today . . .
Amharic and Oromafia . . .
Plate - san
Fork - shuka
Spaghetti - pasta
Oromafia . . .
cat - adora
